Hmmm … what to say here? Where to start? Maybe with the ‘now’. Right now I live in an isolated spot in the woods in France with my hubby. We met ten years ago at work in England, found we had a common love of motorcycling, and after a whirlwind romance abandoned jobs and rode off into the sunset to retirement. You’re never too old to make a new start. Having become a time-millionaire I’ve had time to write two books, play around with photography, mess about with computer graphics, and read more, especially about Buddhism. At sixty-eight biking is still my passion, and the twisty roads here in the Dordogne, punctuated with roadside cafes, make for a wonderful playground. I hope you’ll enjoy this blog, which, like me tends to be full of different thoughts, interests and curiosities.
Hi, Thanks for visiting my blog. I am glad you like it. I only have one although I have started another one about walking which Anglinfo will host. It should be coming out any time soon when I have a moment to do some bloging.
Cheers

Jude,
Glad to see you visited my blog and liked the flower photos. I can’t imagine managing more than one blog; good for you to be out there in so many dimensions.
That’s a great image in your header, BTW. Very fairy tale looking.

Thanks Mel! Re all the blogs I guess I like variety, but sometimes I wish I hadn’t got so many! It’s all caused by sudden ideas and too much enthusiasm!

I’ll be keeping a close eye on your moto and photography posts. And should you travel this way you’d be most welcome to drop in for a coffee/beer and have a look at the ULM. And safe biking.
Best wishes

Wow! I haven’t found many people that have multiple blogs. I too have 14!! One for each country or region I have visited, two for Korea and Oman, where I have lived and worked, one for my home in America, one for photography only, and one for short stories. Glad to find someone else who likes to compartmentalize!!

Do you still keep your other blog up, or this is it? Just wondering …

Hi Rommel! I only keep two up regularly: https://thewriterinthewoods.wordpress.com/ and https://judesphotography.wordpress.com/ My serial blogging got a bit out of hand! Two of the other blogs were actually only created to get my books out there and give a bit of info about them. And one is to advertise a property we’ve been attempting to sell in Baja for a number of years. I created Beemerbird last year, strictly for biking, but haven’t had much to put on it. I may give that one up completely and put biking stuff on Writer in the Woods. Decisions! 🙂

Hello, I just found your blog, I live in Bordeaux and have friends living in the woods in Dordogne, I understand why you enjoy it, you should go to the Hautes Pyrenees, it’s even greater and a very nice spot for flying and taking in fresh and clean air !
