The photo is one that I’ve just put up on my photo blog for the Weekly Photo Challenge, the theme was ‘Resilience’. These very resilient roses were still blooming a few days ago and were covered in frost! I liked the photo rather a lot, and the quote I found by Albert Camus, the French philosopher. It seems a good choice to wish you all well for the coming year, and I hope that whatever happens you’ll find your invincible summer!

Also, wanted to apologize for accidentally deleting your recent comment on my Kona coffee post. I bet the coffee in France is pretty fantastic…was there once about a decade ago. I remember the wine for sure!
